Ada Cordero-Sacks, Esq. is one of Los Angeles’ premier multifamily housing attorneys. An expert in guiding projects through state and federal housing agencies, Ms. Cordero-Sacks has helped to create numerous affordable housing projects.
Ada earned a master’s degree in Urban Planning from UCLA in 1996 and has worked for the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles, and the Community Development Commission of the County of Los Angeles. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation, a nonprofit affordable housing provider.
A happily-married mother of two, Ada is a native Spanish speaker.

Attorney Chris Godinez graduated from UCLA and earned his Juris Doctor from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego in 2015. He graduated law school second in his class with summa cum laude honors.
At Jefferson, Mr. Godinez was an editor for the Thomas Jefferson Law Review and participated in the Small Business Law Center’s Art & Entertainment Law project, where he assisted artists and musicians in securing copyright protection in their creations. He also was an editor for the Thomas Jefferson Law Review and his student note–”Painting Over VARA’s Mess: Protecting Street Artists’ Moral Rights through Eminent Domain”--was selected for publication in 2014 (See 37 T. Jefferson L. Rev. 191 [2014]).
During his second and third year of law school, Godinez interned with the San Diego Public Defender’s Office, and was one of eight candidates selected to participate in the San Diego Public Defender’s Post-Bar Clerkship. Before joining the Law Offices of Ada Cordero-Sacks in 2019, Mr. Godinez practiced criminal defense, handling a broad range of cases.
Christian Balcazar is the Office Administrator. He has been with the firm since 2015, and provides office management supervision and administration. He assists in developing and implementing firm programs, policies, procedures, and practices. He is also fluent in Spanish.
Karina Medina is the Supervising Legal Assistant at the firm. She works directly with Senior Attorney Ada R. Cordero-Sacks and assists in drafting legal documents for attorney review and case preparation. Medina also oversees and assists with daily electronic and physical filings to ensure the efficient handling of casework. She plays a critical role in managing court deadlines and attorneys' workload. She is fluent in Spanish, and is currently working towards becoming a Paralegal.
Claudia Flores is a legal assistant at the law firm who assists with gathering information for incoming cases. She has a BA in Political Science and a minor in Business Law from CSUN. She interned in Washington, D.C. for SER-National, a non-profit that advocates for economic equity in underserved communities, with a focus on the Latino population. She plans to go to law school and is fluent in Spanish.
Kevin Ruiz is a legal assistant and a key part of our day-to-day work. His tasks include maintaining case files for attorneys, preparing and filing important legal documents, and ensuring that court filings are accurate and timely.
Rosamaria Lopez is a legal assistant who is committed to providing reliable, detail-oriented support to clients and the legal team alike. She graduated from the UC Irvine with a BA in Criminology, Law and Society and a minor in Political Science. She’s currently working toward her Paralegal Certificate at College of the Canyons.
Denise Solorio is a legal assistant who provides detail-oriented, dependable support. As an honor roll student working toward a paralegal career, she supports attorneys and clients with professionalism and care.
Andrea Medina is a legal assistant. She helps maintain well-organized filing systems within the firm, both physical and electronic, and assists in preparing and filing legal documents. She is fluent in Spanish.
Brianna Fuerte is a legal assistant at the law firm. She is a student at Los Angeles Pierce College majoring in Journalism and plans to transfer to California State University, Northridge to continue her studies. After she graduates, she hopes to become an editor of a major newspaper or publication. She also speaks Spanish.
